MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS
Working with Neighbours
This subsea hydrogen storage project development is being led by Galetech Energy Developments. Over the past 20 years of developing projects in Ireland, we fully understand the needs of Irish communities. Our projects are embedded in the local communities where our projects are located. This subsea hydrogen storage project will be in or close to a region where marine users including fisheries/seafood industry are currently operating. Survey licences will be required as part of the project development and planning application phases of the project. We want to communicate directly with fishermen/women in the area.
Understanding that the transition to net zero must be fair, we will take a proactive approach and work with our neighbours to ensure we hear all concerns. Our aim is to minimise any effects on fisheries and mariners and maximise the benefits available to stakeholders in proximity to the project.

INFORMATION
Keeping up to date
Every effort will be made to meet with stakeholders individually. We will post information about our project on this website. If you want to be kept up to date or require any further information, please contact us
We welcome the opportunity to build relationships with marine users, particularly with the fisheries/seafood industry. We will be holding face to face meetings and we will carry out public consultation.
